Ethical charter on fund raising
- All our messages must respect the dignity and personality of groups or individuals.
- Our fund raising messages must never raise feelings of guilt, allude to high personal income nor use direct or indirect forms of coercion to influence fund raising.
- Accounts of the association are kept in a way that will ensure total transparency of operations.
- Accounts are audited every year by independent auditors.
- Audited accounts clearly indicate specific fund raising expenses.
- Audited accounts and balances of the association are approved by the General Assembly and deposited with the Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés of Luxembourg.
- Accounts and balances are published and send to donors. Furthermore, detailed accounts are publicly accessible on request at the association’s main office.
- The association’s files are in no case sold, rented out or exchanged.
- According to the law of 2 August 2002 on the protection and handling of personal data, donors’ files are registered with the National Commission for the protection of personal data.
- Payment of persons hired by the association shall never be linked to fund raising results.
