Ethical charter on fund raising

  1. All our messages must respect the dignity and personality of groups or individuals.
  2. Our fund raising messages must never raise feelings of guilt, allude to high personal income nor use direct or indirect forms of coercion to influence fund raising.
  3. Accounts of the association are kept in a way that will ensure total transparency of operations.
  4. Accounts are audited every year by independent auditors.
  5. Audited accounts clearly indicate specific fund raising expenses.
  6. Audited accounts and balances of the association are approved by the General Assembly and deposited with the Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés of Luxembourg.
  7. Accounts and balances are published and send to donors. Furthermore, detailed accounts are publicly accessible on request at the association’s main office.
  8. The association’s files are in no case sold, rented out or exchanged.
  9. According to the law of 2 August 2002 on the protection and handling of personal data, donors’ files are registered with the National Commission for the protection of personal data.
  10. Payment of persons hired by the association shall never be linked to fund raising results.
